Man, Beltre was on a roll. He started off going 4 for 4 with 3 homeruns. Next game he hit another bomb. After that he hits for the cycle. He had a three homer game and the cycle in one week.The only other player to do that was Joe Dimaggio.
Now to the Mariners. They are 22 and 10 since trading Ichiro - coincidence?
And in the NBA, can anybody in the East beat the Heat, and in the West can anybody beat the Lakers? I see a Kobe, Lebron showdown for the title.
Can the New York Giants repeat? I think not, even if they do make it to the conference championship, the Packers will pummell them this time. Patriots vs. Packers for it all..Patriots win!
