Advice for Fan Mail

A few years ago, I wrote a letter to my favorite baseball player, Adrian Beltre. I mailed the letter to the Seattle Mariners. I thought he never got my letter. I used to check the mail all the time because I was hoping for a letter back. This week in the mail, I got an envelope from the Texas Rangers. Inside was an Adrian Beltre baseball card and this message:
Thank you so much for your support. I am enjoying my first year in Texas and I appreciate all of my old and new fans. Due to the amount of fan mail I receive, I am unable to sign items that are sent in. I hope that you enjoy one of my cards.
All my best,
Adrian Beltre

So, if you are expecting to get a letter from an MLB player that you wrote fan mail to, don't expect it to be coming in less than a year. Don't give up and be patient. I wrote him another letter and I wonder how long it will take me to get a letter back this time.

Playoffs

Shaq won't be back for the first game of the NBA playoffs. He hurt one of his achilles in a game. He should be back later in the playoffs, and should definitely be back if the Celtics make it to the second round. They won't do as well without him, but they will still do pretty well. I think they will use Jermaine O'Neal or Nenad Krstic instead.

Griffey is back!

I just found out Ken Griffey, Jr will now be a special consultant for the Mariners. I think that the Mariners made a good choice because Griffey was a fantastic baseball player and I think he could really help the team out. He could definitely help Ichiro and the other outfielders with their bat power. I think the players will be glad to have him back with the Mariners.

Little League Bats

A lot of people know that little league has banned composite bats because a batted ball can hurt someone. But they should only ban them in minors and majors. Why? Because in the lower levels they are still developing and aren't going to hit hard enough to cause a serious injury. If a fielder is not paying attention it is his or her fault not the bat's fault. I hope little league will change back the rules so more kids can use their favorite bats.

Top Teams NBA and Latest on the Heat

So far the Celtics and the Spurs are #1 in their leagues, and the Heat are struggling to get back on top. They need to get the ball to Lebron and Wade more, and Bosh is having trouble right now.

Go Celtics!
